The business currently operates from 40 strategically located branches throughout New Zealand that have been designed to maximize customer safety and convenience. Assisting these branches are dedicated regional workshops including fully trained workshop teams and professional sales personnel.
Subsequent to a significant investment in new fleet and increased demand in the Wellington region, we are seeking to employ a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and energetic Diesel Mechanic/Field Serviceman based at our Lower Hutt Branch.
The successful applicant would ideally be experienced in earthmoving and general construction equipment and have a broad knowledge of portable air compressors, generator sets, and other plant. Notwithstanding this, the company will provide full product training where required.
Importantly, a strong commitment to occupational health and safety compliance on our, and our customers’ major project sites is essential.
In addition, you will need to have well developed interpersonal and communication skills, a good administrative ability, proven customer service record, and a current Full Class 1 Drivers Licence.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and aptitude.

The company has at present 40 strategically located branches throughout New Zealand and has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic Customer Service / Driver to join its operation in Lower Hutt.
You will need well developed interpersonal and commincation skills, good computer skills and administrative ability, be able to work un-supervised and have a technical aptitude for working with mechanical equipment. You will also need to be available to work weekends as required.
The Key responsibilties of this position:
* Meet and greet clients and customers
* Delivery of plant to customers
* General administrative duties
* This is a full time role Monday-Friday with rostered Saturday mornings
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:
* Full Class 1 New Zealand Driver's Licence is essential
* Mechanical experience or aptitude
* Good sense of humour and able to fit into a great team of guys
* Intermediate computer skills
* Enjoys dealing with customers
