Field Service Mechanic - Dunedin

Hirequip, New Zealand’s premier equipment rental company has established a
significant market position through its commitment to superior customer service,
quality and safety.

The company has at present 38 branches throughout New Zealand and has an
opportunity for a mature, enthusiastic and energetic Field Service Mechanic based
at our Dunedin Workshop and servicing of predominantly heavy earthmoving
equipment in the field and at our Otago/Southland branches.

You will be required to undertake hire equipment checks, maintenance, fabrication
and repair; be prepared to travel, and be willing to work on a wide range of
equipment.
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:

•Enthusiastic and dedicated to support our customers
•Effective time management skills in an autonomous environment.
•Over 10 years experience in the diesel or machinery maintenance trade.
•Whilst not necessarily trade qualified, it would be preferred.
•NZ Driver’s licence required and preferably endorsed class 2,3,4
•Computer literate
•Good communication skills.
