We are very pleased to announce that Brian Muir, Marquee Operations Manager at Christchurch Events, was recently announced as the inaugural winner of the HireQuip Chairman's Award for Service Excellence.Nine Regional winners for 2009, were brought together in Auckland to celebrate their achievements at a dinner with members of the Board and Senior Management team. Garry Woods (HireQuip Chairman) reiterated how important the award was in terms of supporting HireQuip's company Critical Success Factor 'Exceed our Customers Expectations' as well as demonstrating the value of taking 'Ownership'. Brian Muir was recalled to the rostrum to receive the 2009 Inaugural Award. Brian has been with HireQuip for 14 years and is very well experienced in the challenges of running large events. His original nomination centred on his involvement on the South Island Agricultural Field Days. Brian spent countless hours ensuring that the event was a success. Brian was singled out as the one person who made the event a success due to his unwavering commitment and being the 'fix it' man. His efforts did not go unnoticed and were instrumental in HireQuip being signed up for the next South Island Agricultural Field Days. Being a modest Southern man, Brian last night paid tribute to the Christchurch Party team for doing most of the hard work and also congratulated the other nominees for being worthy Regional winners. The Grand prize involves HireQuip flying Brian and partner to Orlando, Florida in February 2010 to attend the American Rental Conference which has an emphasis on Events. He will be returning via San Francisco where they will be taking in few sights in the U.S. Once again, congratulations to Brian and all the Regional winners for their valued contributions to the success of HireQuip. |
