Victoria Park Tunnel Project

One of New Zealand's most significant road projects, the $340m Victoria Park Tunnel (VPT) was opened in November to much fanfare. Fletcher Construction was the lead contractor and HireQuip a key supplier.

At the WRC

In May this year, HireQuip enjoyed it's first of many years association with the Rally of New Zealand as the official Hire Equipment supplier.

With the event running over 3 days through 21 locations from Whangarei in the North to Raglan in the South, HireQuip supplied a wide range of equipment to just about every stage.

The 2010 HireQuip North Island Golf Tournament

HireQuip's North Island Golf Tournament was held at the beautiful and well known Gulf Harbour Country Club in Whangaparaoa in March.

The morning started off well for all 140 players being treated to gorgeous weather and a cooked BBQ breakfast. As the players embarked on the course however, they experienced their fair share of weather with almost four seasons in one round but it was all smiles and laughter as the day went on. Players were spoilt for choice with the carts and stations stocked with food and beverages.

Southern Support For Golf Tournament

A full field of 144 golfers turned out on a typically blustery Canterbury day for the inaugural HireQuip Golf Day.

The Southern region was well covered with clients coming from all over the island, not only to take on the Coringa Golf Course but support HireQuip's chosen charity, Cure Kids.

HireQuip On A Mission

HireQuip, in conjunction with Fulton Hogan, Greenstone Energy and Toyota have recently donated a new Toyota van to the Wellington City Mission.

With three branches in the greater Wellington area, HireQuip believe it was a great opportunity to assist the local community for the support customers have given HireQuip during the last 20 years of operation.
